“In many ways the “topless” shots are just kitsch but they certainly fulfilled the image of “androgyny” that the band was keen to project and they got immediate attention from the rock press. The band was as pretty as a bunch of schoolgirls, and the photos garnered them some attention, they wanted some of that full tilt “glam” image that I had become adept at garnering.” - Mick Rock
